EXTREMES
First you love me,
Then you don't.
Then you say you will.
But, we both know;
You wont.
First you lift me up;
So high.
I can nearly;
Touch the sky.
Then you step,
Out of the way.
When from that lofty height;
I fall today.
No arms held out to catch me;
You just let me,
crash and burn.
Someday perhaps;
The tables,
Will turn.
was this my destiny?
To constantly question;
If you love me.
No comforting words,
To help me heal.
You're so extreme;
I can never tell;
How you truly feel.
Then you don't.
Then you say you will.
But, we both know;
You wont.
First you lift me up;
So high.
I can nearly;
Touch the sky.
Then you step,
Out of the way.
When from that lofty height;
I fall today.
No arms held out to catch me;
You just let me,
crash and burn.
Someday perhaps;
The tables,
Will turn.
was this my destiny?
To constantly question;
If you love me.
No comforting words,
To help me heal.
You're so extreme;
I can never tell;
How you truly feel.
