OUTSIDE MY WINDOW
Outside my window;
The world is passing by.
The wind chimes let out;
Their sweet melodic cry.
A sweet reminder,
of warmer times.
Come with each ray;
Of sunshine.
Where fields will bloom in color.
Awaiting their season's time.
In the warming breeze,
That blows through;
My window screen.
I can sense the wonder;
Of a new seasons scene.
As each snowflake;
slowly melts away.
When will old man winter;
release his grip?
Who's to say?
Outside my window;
Is the promise of,
Better things to come.
I can feel it;
In the promise of the sun.
The world is passing by.
The wind chimes let out;
Their sweet melodic cry.
A sweet reminder,
of warmer times.
Come with each ray;
Of sunshine.
Where fields will bloom in color.
Awaiting their season's time.
In the warming breeze,
That blows through;
My window screen.
I can sense the wonder;
Of a new seasons scene.
As each snowflake;
slowly melts away.
When will old man winter;
release his grip?
Who's to say?
Outside my window;
Is the promise of,
Better things to come.
I can feel it;
In the promise of the sun.
