DRAGON SLAYER REWRITE
Magical sands of time,
Sweep in to take hold.
There beyond the mist stands the knight,
So bold.
He stands his ground,
While faced with the beast,
who breaths fire.
To slay him,
his only desire.
The dragon’s scales,
have shielded every knights attempt,
To slay the beast,
They hold in contempt.
Light reflects,
Then explodes,
Against his sword held high.
The earth erupts with the demons sigh.
The knight lunges in for the kill.
Evading every thrust,
The beasts lungs fill.
Preparing for his fiery breath.
The dragon anticipates the knights swift death.
With swift movements born from lessons past,
The knight charges in
Stealing the demon’s breath at last.
The knight turns to retrieve his treasure.
For within the dragons cave he’d guarded,
The princess who’s
Beauty was beyond any measure.
With a silent bow
Of respect he’s paid,
He wins the heart
Of the lovely maid.
By killing the beast who terrorized,
This land.
He was promised,
the lovely maidens hand.
