INSOMNIACS MISTRESS
Worry;
An insomniacs mistress.
The soft knock upon the door,
do I answer?
Do I throw caution to the wind,
and let the caller pass by?
The door once opened,
slumber will take flight.
The sandman still flees.
With the worry of,
the callers message.
Are my dear ones safe?
Did I pay that bill?
What's the future bring?
Do I stand a chance?
She brings no comfort.
But in not knowing,
the worry creeps in.
So it matters not,
if the calls answered.
Her essence will linger.
The mistress will win,
worry; will enter.
She's a heartless bitch.
