SERENDIPITY
I was standing there;
You were too.
Was this simply coincidence?
Were we destined to meet;
me and you?
The day was uneventful.
Just passing the,
Day away.
What a happy accident;
To bump into you today.
They have a word for this type;
Of calamity.
They call it;
Serendipity.
A fortunate accident.
An accident where;
I found you.
Accident or otherwise;
these feelings are true.
You fill my days with laughter;
And a smile.
I hope this connection;
Lasts for a very long while.
If accidents were always;
This fulfilling,
And worth going through.
I'd wish for more accidents;
That brings me a friend like you.
