MAKE LEMONADE
Fluffy white clouds,
turn to grey.
Bringing an end,
to my sunny day.
I do not let this bring my spirits down.
On my face,
I do not wear a frown.
I embrace the first light sprinkles
on my nose.
The droplets moisten the sand,
in which I curl my toes.
buried deep
within its grip,
The days warmth,
still has not slipped.
Quickly turning,
the sand to clay.
No rain,
shall ruin my day.
With pleasure,
the clay I begin to mold.
Shaping a castle,
of times of old.
Daydreaming I'm a princess,
in the highest tower.
As the rain comes down,
in its pleasure
I shower.
As the rain washes my worries away.
I smile,
for no clouds
shall ruin my day.
As if in answer to my joy,
the bashful sun peaks out
was it just being coy?
Then a wonderful gift is given to me;
A rainbows arc
for all to see.
They say when life gives you lemons,
make lemonade.
Remember,
never let your joy fade.
Take pleasure
in the simple things of norm.
Embrace,
your next summers storm.
turn to grey.
Bringing an end,
to my sunny day.
I do not let this bring my spirits down.
On my face,
I do not wear a frown.
I embrace the first light sprinkles
on my nose.
The droplets moisten the sand,
