Mamilapinatapei
The way I imagined;
You looked at me today.
Made my pulse flutter,
The skipping heartbeat;
gave me away.
My true feelings,
Must be so easy to see.
I'm unable to hide,
My lonely souls plea.
Though your look spoke volumes;
To my heart.
I know in more than miles;
We are far apart.
Both reluctant;
To take that,
next step.
To scared to give in to what could be;
An amazing affair.
But neither;
Will take the next step.
So it is only friendship;
We will share.
Knowing to let it go;
Any further,
Would only cause strife.
To the significant others;
In our life.
So the image of a look;
Is all were left,
To hold onto.
A hope and a promise;
Of something,
That will never come true.
