A QUIET END
Our end, in this beginning,
So easily expressed
Through words softly spoken
A caress devoid of touch
Marking a trail along my breast
Then there was nothing
For I had ceased to feel
And laughed in madness
For something that I think is real
A searing pain burns deep
Withing my crumbling mind
Till there is nothing,
My sorrow crying tears
I cannot shed
Spining into the void
A place where everything
Which is not is,
Where man meets God
And life is blurred
Here, we leave
To spend eternity apart,
Wandering a world
Bereft of colour,
Shaking trees a small
Part of history
Just to see leaves fall
And life begin anew
In a tiny accorns heart
