    Sonnet 1 - A Darker Shade from You

     I think I saw another part of you
    When we sat still beneath the Holly tree,
    And from your masks shade a darker being flew
    Eternally surrounding you and me,

    Your cruel sadness changed all it met but me
    Stead you took my heart so I could but follow,
    Turned happiness and love to debris
    And a trail of bodies leaving me hollow

    In one moment you had sealed our fates
    Doomes to ever walk this putrid earth
    Loving, hating, as twisted soul mates
    While I wait for a spiritual rebirth

    This is how we loved, bitter, sour,
    Till God took us and showed his power...
