Too much to care
I wonder what is colder,To love and fall useless,
Or never to have shared the glances,
To be the one always looking on,
To be the crutch that never fails,
To be the friend that never leaves,
A reflection of your own intension,
A mirror to their soul, they never see,
Does loving someone really mean,
That you can never take the road,
How long can you wait before
Before you're just the clinging fool,
How many glance become too many?
How many touches till it's just wrong?
I think now is the time to leave,
I think now is when I run,
I just wanted to share in your dream,
Stead I can only scream
At the unfairness of it all,
What do they have
That I can never share?
But perhaps I'm being unfair,
Maybe I'm looking at this sideways,
I haven't known you all that long,
And you think I like a different sort,
You can't know I would always be there,
You can't think how much I care,
See in your eyes I'm the dancing friend,
The girl lost and out of place,
In your eyes there's nothing there,
In your eyes I'm just a fliting shadow,
In your eyes I don't exist...
