Black Rose
Legends are born and made
In the minds of men
Works of art dedicated
To bringing fiction into life
So here it is, at last,
I’ve found my mythical Rose,
Petals swallowing the shadows themselves,
Stems that turn blue blood
To silky crimson flows,
In its darkness I perceive
Another world is shown
One where magic sucks dry air
And Phoenix’s cut through the sky,
My Black Rose of Death
Lying so sweetly by my side,
Far greater than your siblings
In your mythical life,
Sought by all the greatest minds,
Found by me,
Humble servant though I be
To a higher power I refuse to name,
You will be my guiding star,
A petal for each love
A thorn for every pain,
My sweet, sweet Rose
Of darkness
