Standing Tall
I loved a man
But he was weak
And all my expectations
Fell a million miles away
And then I knew
I could not love a man
To whom no expectations could be bound
My love was strong,
And my hope not unfound
But he could not stand
Without leaning on a wall
And that wall had to be
A mountain for his soul
