The difference is Love
We sit here so close
But never touching
I can see you smile
It's dimmed somewhat
You lift fingers to my face
Caressing the lines
You know so well
And I know you see
That look in my eye
We go so well together
But things have changed
I want you still
But less and less
As we find our lives uncrossing
I know you don't want to lose me
Even when I know everything
Can be erased, you stand still
Watching me, our life has stopped
So now I've made my choice
I'm leaving you,
You like me and I like you
The difference is my love
Let me leave you
Even if I die
Let me tell myself
That with time....
Even when I know everything
Can be erased
I cannot stay
You like me well enough, I like you
The difference is love
But never touching
I can see you smile
It's dimmed somewhat
You lift fingers to my face
Caressing the lines
You know so well
And I know you see
That look in my eye
We go so well together
But things have changed
I want you still
But less and less
As we find our lives uncrossing
I know you don't want to lose me
Even when I know everything
Can be erased, you stand still
Watching me, our life has stopped
So now I've made my choice
I'm leaving you,
You like me and I like you
The difference is my love
Let me leave you
Even if I die
Let me tell myself
That with time....
Even when I know everything
Can be erased
I cannot stay
You like me well enough, I like you
The difference is love
