    Silence in a crowded space
    A life for a life
    I was afraid once upon a time
    I ran and ran until I hit the edge
    The edge of the world, life and sanity
    Infinity stretched before me
    And I was alone
    More afraid than ever before
    So back I came
    Running with the shadows
    Falling, swimming and flying
    Back into the world of pain
    Cos here at least I’m in the know
    I know the measure of my pain
    I know the feel of my sorrow
    No one questions the smile
    Not like the void did
    No hollow echo of a laugh
    Just the silence found with many people
