Time
Time, when locked within
our tempered minds,
Promising new stories to begin,
Fingers pulling at mankind's
Reticence to start anew,
Doomed people amassed
For a history cursed to renew
The failings of the past,
Look to the sky
So feet cannot see the dead,
Hear their voices on the wind, sigh,
"Now at last we lie abed"
With a new age arisen
Will any free us from this prison?
our tempered minds,
Promising new stories to begin,
Fingers pulling at mankind's
Reticence to start anew,
Doomed people amassed
For a history cursed to renew
The failings of the past,
Look to the sky
So feet cannot see the dead,
Hear their voices on the wind, sigh,
"Now at last we lie abed"
With a new age arisen
Will any free us from this prison?
